Little Himalaya, nearly 18 months on…

We opened Little Himalaya, Warwickshire’s very first salt cave, back in November 2016. Created as a result of founder Richard Simmons’ own chronic Asthma and chest issues , our salt room was soon welcoming in people not just from Kenilworth, but from as far as 40-50 miles away. Our guest book has received many wonderful and kind comments, in addition to the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received online in places such as Trip Advisor and Facebook. Our testimonials pages on this website are also bursting with reviews.

Primarily aimed at offering an alternative, holistic treatment for those suffering from respiratory related illnesses such as Asthma, COPD and Emphysema, many of our patients have had success in treating other complaints such as Psoriasis, Sinus issues and Eczema.

Last July, due to popular demand, we opened up a second salt therapy room, this time just for children! Their very own salt cave features a DVD player and a child friendly environment where kids can occupy themselves with their own books and activities without having to sit still for the duration of the treatment!

One of the things that we are most pleased about is the high number of repeat customers that we have had. If our salt cave wasn’t providing any noticeable benefit, then our customers certainly wouldn’t be coming back for more. Indeed we have more than a few customers who actually attend salt therapy sessions every week, and have been doing so for months. We like to think that this means we must be doing something right!

Our regular customers are very important to us as, due to the close relationship that they form with our staff, Jo and Lorraine, they are able to provide frequent feedback to us about how they are progessing with their particular health issue as they have more and more salt therapy sessions. For a brand new venture such as ours, it goes without saying that this feedback is absolutely crucial.

Last week we welcomed in our 2,000th customer, which we are naturally delighted about. Hopefully that’s 2,000 people who have felt and seen at least some benefit from having experienced our salt cave. Here’s to the next 2,000 and beyond!

What a wonderful place. An incredibly relaxing experience and I can already feel the benefit to my chest after just one session. Friendly and knowledgeable staff to boot. I would not hesitate to recommend Little Himalaya. 10/10.
